Actually I read the 3 volumes of the manga and it ended in almost the same spot as the anime, according to MAL the manga is finished at 3 volumes. That doesn't mean that they couldn't make a second season of the Anime, I just wished there was more.

Tokko is playing on Chiller channel every monday night at 8 eastern for those who have directv. i must say i might actually be addicted to this show. this one and the one tht alway sairs after it called Descendants of Darkness. i recommend it if ur into yaoi XD

tokko was a great anime......and then they said were done with this and ended it. thus the potential of tokko was over.

Okay, so Im not going to say that Tokko is anything fantastic, BUT it was not by any means bad. They did some interesting things, came up with those cool slug monster things and the creators had a fair design sense. Anyways... to see a season two you could always do the logical thing and support the industry buy actually buying a DVD

This anime needs a season 2. Season 1's ending seems to indicate that it is unfinished.
