Hinata was born at 27 of December. She is 148.3 cm and 38.2 kg. She has inherited the bloodline from Hyuuba family as successor of this family. So, she is able to use Byakugan, Gentle Fist and Protection of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms. Her father is Hiashi Hyuga and she has a small sister, Hanabi. Neji is a cousin of hers and his father, Hizashi, was her uncle. Hyuga means towards the sun and Hinata means a sunny place, but actually, in Japanese is the same kanji (kanji is writing system which uses Chinese symbols) but it is read with a different way. That's how we have from the same word, two different meanings.

Hinata made her first appearance in the first episode of Naruto. She's in Kurenai's team, along with Kiba and Shino. She's is very shy and she admires Naruto from the very begging. Her combat skills are not very powerful (her younger sister may be stronger than Hinata) and even though she is typically a successor of Hyuga family, due to her lack of power, her father was very tough with her when she was in her early teens and he told to Kurenai to take her under her guidance and do whatever she wanted with her, because he was no use of her. But Hinata tried to change herself, dispite the fact that she was lacking self-confidence and she was very nervous and made a lot of mistakes during missions. Kishimoto, the creator of manga, has told about Hinata: "Humans are separated by differences they are born with but I want to believe that people can change and wanted to express that. Hinata's theme is 'by believing in yourself, you can become a new person."
