Pro Filler Organisation

This club is built on the foundation that the worth of an anime's material is NOT dependent on it's inclusion in the work which it was based off of or whether it is necessary for the plot to function. This club will cover two different uses of the word filler due to significant numbers using the word for both purposes and the fact that in many cases the meanings can be synonymous . The first meaning includes material in an anime adaption that wasn't in the original manga or game. The second meaning includes scenes in an anime that aren't necessary for the plot regardless of whether they appear in the source material or not. The reason this club was made was because a significant number of anime fans believe that either of the above are inherently inferior to scenes from the source material that forward the plot. Also the existence of the first definition of filler is taken by some to believe that the source material (either game or manga) is always better than the anime adaption. It is my hope that the existence of this club will at least demonstrate to people that liking and even preferring filler is a perfectly normal and acceptable. Please note that the term filler is often used in a pejorative sense. The reason why the club chooses to use the word however is that ... 1. The term is the most widely used to describe the material which this club covers. 2. The term has come to be used by people who use it in a neutral non-pejorative sense. Thus it will be considered a viable term
