Hi everyone, I know people probably aren't active here anymore but in case anyone is, there are some items I'm planning to get rid of in the near future, mainly my Berserk Deluxe Edition volumes, a few of my figures, and possibly some Mori Calliope albums, would anyone in the general Portland to Eugene area be interested in anything of those?

Hello! I'm an anime artist and online comic artist and love anime and manga. I'm looking to make friends locally so I can meet up at conventions with them and hang out and have fun. I'm looking for artists friends too to art trade because there's just something about it that's just so fun. Anyone who wants to get together for coffee and talk about anime I'm totally free to do that, I live in North East Portland and can travel around the greater Portland area to meetup with anyone interested.

OMG. I am so excited to find other Akibas in the state of Oregon. I thought I was the only one around here. I'm from Southern Oregon, so I haven't met anyone who's into Anime like I am. My friends make fun of me sometimes for watching this. They even accuse me of being into anime porn, but that's not even the case. Other people just don't understand the arts behind anime. Anime is very entertaining, cultural, and divine. The characters in the animation are quite significant and look very awesome, and I love their unique personality. I am a great fan of animes. I have an elite subscription on the Funimation and Anime Network websites so that I can watch as much as I can. And sometimes I even buy the animes for bluray, no matter how much it costs. Power to the Akibas! Woohoo!

Now that I've found an Oregon club, I feel compelled to join. I'm not very social but I'm definitely a fan of manga and anime. I guess that makes me a typical otaku, yes/no?

On top of Powell Butte in Portland there's an old fort/school that got turned into a park. The view of the metro area, the airport, the rivers, ... anyways it's a better view than from Big Pink. Take people up day or night ... just not on foggy days or in a downpour, since visibility is critical to enjoying the experience.

How is everybody? This club really deserves more attention. What are some of your favorite attractions in Oregon? I'll start off, I really like the rose garden (Not the Moda Center, but the garden with real roses).
