MAL's Group Fanfiction Library

<div style="text-align: center;">This club is a place for MAL members to write and contribute to group fanfiction--stories based on anime and manga that we all work together to produce. So far, we have stories based on the following anime: <strong>Fate/Stay Night Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai Lucky Star Clannad Toradora</strong> Members are welcome to contribute to existing stories, create new stories, or just hang out, read, and enjoy. If you'd like to contribute but aren't sure about how to proceed, there's a special thread called the "Writer's Workshop" below, in which everybody is welcome to talk about, ask questions about group fanfiction, or comment on the existing stories. Of course, there do need to be some rules on this club. They're subject to change if we need to in the future, but here they are as they stand now:<!--center--></div> <span style="color:red">1. *POSTING RULES*. You may start a new story whenever you wish, but please do not double post to any story, even one you created. Otherwise, you're just writing the story all by yourself, which kinda defeats the purpose of a 'group' fanfic. <strong>Please wait for at least two other people to post before you post again</strong> (this is to keep the story from just being passed back and forth between two people). If nobody has posted in the past 24 hours, then you may post again, even if only one person has gone since the last time you did.<!--color--></span> 2. Please write in English. Of course, Japanese phrases are fine, as well as literary colloquialisms like 'dunno', 'wanna', and stuff like that. Just please make the majority of your post readable and understandable in English. 3. Ecchi material is fine (as well as certain levels of Yuri and Yaoi), but no hentai. Sorry--I don't want to get in trouble with MAL. 4. Stories should be based only on anime or manga. For now, I think it’s best that we keep it to one story per title, to keep it from getting confusing. It’s best if you’ve seen the anime or read the manga that the story you want to post to is about, because we’re all expecting you to know who the characters are and how they interact with each other. 5. I realize that we’re not all writers, here, but please try to keep your grammar reasonable. Internet shorthand is for chatting—we’re writing stories, here. 6. Please make an effort to spell words correctly. I’m not going to be a hardnose about every last little thing (we all make mistakes), but if you’re not sure about your spelling, write out your post in a word processing program, spellcheck it, and then paste it in the appropriate thread. What I’m talking about here isn't just a few words--it's large amounts of poor spelling, which there really aren’t a whole lot of excuses for in a day and age that has spellchecking programs. 7. Remember, we’re all in this together, to make a fun story we can all enjoy! Please try not to runaway with the plot, or deliberately screw it up for everybody else. Each of them is wearing a lavender sundress that billows about their juvenile frames as they stroll, and occasionally skip through the brush. It’s a fine day, and they’ve decided to head into town to pick up a few things at the local Market.</em> <strong>Second post:</strong> <em>Rena shows up and kills them with her big hatchet, cause she rocks! Pwned!! XD</em> This kind of crap will get your post deleted, and repeat offenses will get you kicked out of the club—so play nice.<!--spoiler--></span></div><!--center--></div> <div style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="color:red">If you're contributing to a story or writing a new one, it's expected that you've read and understand the rules! If your post deliberately shows that you haven't, it will be removed!<!--color--></span></strong> I'll be adding to the anime/manga relations as new stories get started up. That's about it, folks!
