Mission Zero: Infinite Chronicles

Information

There are more than one Earth in this world, more than one timeline, more than one universe; a multiverse. Infinite numbers of Earths where things went on different paths, chaotic distopias, lawful utopias, blissful nothingness and complex beings, all are possible. Our mission is to keep the balance and prevent infinite chaos.






Earth A:
The “Normal” timeline. On this Earth, history happened as it did on our earth, with mysteries in the past such as magic and monsters still possible. The future should also happen based on our current timeline and have advanced technology.

Earth B:
On this Earth, Stalin died earlier in his life and was replaced by the powerful yet more merciful Stoyanov. Stoyanov was a hardline socialist and communist but he was also a much more lenient, intelligent and good man compared to Stalin. He managed to run the Soviet economy greatly, preventing the Sino-Soviet split and even helping other communist nations. He encouraged peace and spread communism along the world. This meant that more countries became communists and rejected mainstream libertarian capitalism, resulting in decreased trade profits in the capitalist world and the collapse of the United States. In this world the Soviet Union wins the cold war and most of the world, excluding the Republic of North America (the remnant of the United States after its dissolution) and a few countries such as Britain, South Korea and Vietnam, follow communism and the future is shaped by this. Magic is completely unknown in this world, though advancements in technology since the industrial revolution has been much faster than in Earth A, making the world have a nearly steampunk aesthetic in it, though nuclear power is usually preferred and nuclear tech in particular has advanced incredibly.

Earth C:
On this Earth, magic was not hidden and kept away from the public, instead being spread and used commonly, with advancement of mankind depending on it. Even in modern and future times, mana, magical energy and spells are used as power sources or as part of technology. Gods, mythical beasts, and spirits are commonly known, studied and interacted with humans on this earth.

Earth D:
On this Earth, the Columbian exchange happened not between the west and the new world, but rather between the East and the new world. Thus the eastern powers colonized much of America (Both north and south) and eastern culture becomes the globalized culture. On this earth, the natives were not completely eradicated either, with survivors forming the Caribbean Union in the Caribbean, western colonists could somewhat be found around South America, but was dominated by Chinese colonists. China splits into several states including the PRC and the Republic of China, and Korea still splits into two. The main power in the new world is the Empire of North Shinsekai (the name of the American continent on this Earth). The future thus happens based on this. In addition, some species from the age of the dinosaurs survived on this Earth, meaning things like dragons, sea serpents and small raptors exist on this earth, though a lot are endangered, and the spiritual realm and magic are known and treated mostly as an energy source.

Earth E:
On this Earth, the Second World War was about to be won by the Nazis, before the soviets dropped nuclear bombs on Hamburg and Munich, ending the European front and the war after the US bombed Japan. Additionally, the US and the SU both attacked each other and started the third world war. Nuclear winter thus occurred and Armageddon happened. Humans would survive but only a few. Humanity is set back hundreds of years and is forced to rebuild. On this world the population of humans has been dramatically reduced and Mars has been colonized much sooner due to the radioactivity on Earth, meaning humanity’s world in the future is not Earth but Mars.


Characters
Everyone starts with 3 character slots.
A character must be approved by an admin before they are able to be used to RP.
It is recommended to have different powers with other characters, characters with similar powers are allowed to a degree, but it is discouraged to do so.
Only personality and biography can be changed once a character has been approved. To change other aspects of your character, please refer to the request thread
A character is only able to be in one place at a time, unless there are special circumstances
You can create a character at any time, but you have to wait a minimum of two weeks after the character is created to delete and/or kill it. To do this, check the request thread.


Roleplaying
No godmodding, metagaming or powerplaying (see the beginner's guide if you don't know what those terms mean)
All posts must have a minimum of 3 full and coherent sentences (having a noun and a verb). It is encouraged to have post layouts too, but this is not compulsory.
When leaving an area, it is required to clearly state it and add emphasis by either bolding it, italicizing it or underlining it (or other ways such as colors).
No murdering unless there is consent from the other RPer to kill off that character.
When in battle, although there should be some level of suspension of disbelief, realism is encouraged, and having your character be invincible is not allowed. Please be reasonable in battle.
The primary determiner of winning battles is creativity, not straight out stats.
No speedblitzing or unreasonable curbstomping, try to give your opponents at least the slightest of chances unless the power gap is way too high.

Swearing is allowed to a degree, but not to the point of rudeness or making someone uncomfortable.
Be respectful to fellow RPers, try to be fair, polite and never patronizing and/or irritating. Insulting and other inappropriate behavior will be dealt with swiftly.
