This is MAL's Tree of Savior Guild [Name Subject to Change]!
We are currently riding our way towards the promised virtual land of isometric gaming and abstract fantasy life!
As of May 12, 2015; Tree of Savior was the fastest game to get greenlit in Steam history. It is considered the true successor of Ragnarok Online and contains over 80+ classes and counting; allowing the player to make countless combinations when rolling a character. So far it has won the G-Star award for best online game and best art during it's pre-beta phase, beating out other MMORPGs that had already officially released at the time. It's truly a unique game with massive potential and with its international version not being published by Nexon US, why shouldn't it be in your radar if you're an avid MMO fan? Join the club!

looks like they didn't get "MMO of the year", but you know damn well they'll still milk "Runner-up" for all it's got.
I really want to be surprised about the final product, but I think what we see now is likely going to be more or less what we get. Most the people I played it with have been messaging me like "man why is Tree of Savior so shit"
Also with nX getting in on the game development I think it's pretty much done lol
@Syrup Is this getting MMO of the year? As far as I can see in this voting competition it's losing to Blade and Soul (Luckily)... I honestly don't think it even deserves such a high rating to be honest.
ugh I'm so not stoked for this game. I was half tempted to destroy the user page but there's not really a way to do that. If they don't drastically improve their gameplay to something that is at least different from the thousands of other fetchquest style MMOs I'm not even gonna touch this game.
What makes me more mad is how hard the FB page tries to shill itself. This game does NOT deserve MMO of the year.
I was genuinely very excited for this. I really don't mind micro-transactions if they are purely for cosmetics or XP boosts (I understand why they exists... for people who are busy with work/kids/family and still want to have fun , but can't afford to play the whole day like many kids).
However the whole trade restriction and +3 movement speed thing has me very discouraged overall. (I don't have the game so I don't know if the movement speed bonus is enabled or disabled during PvP , however If the movement speed bonus isn't disabled for PvP then I will definitely not be playing it , because who am I kidding. If they can give small bonuses like that to people that pay , then nothing is stopping them from giving something more extreme later down the line when money starts drying up).
I honestly feel like this would have been more successful if they just launched the game as buy to play , however we'll just have to wait and see. If this fails then at least there is still Black Desert Online as well as Blade and Soul. (Haven't played either of them , so can't really say how good either is from game-play alone)
I'll be hoping that the international release fixes the issues/concerns I have , however I am not very enthusiastic at this point in time. Such a shame also , because this game really gives me nostalgia from all the SNES games I played back in the day.
