GW Anime Society

Interested in anime? Well obviously you should be if you’re taking the time to browse through this group. Looking for people sharing your interest in anime? Perfect! We wouldn’t be the GW Anime Society if we weren’t interested! Even if you’ve only had few experiences with anime, don’t worry, this is a great place for you to learn more, and be introduced to different series. Everyone is always welcome to drop by! We meet every Thursday at 7:00 PM in the Marvin Center. The rooms vary, but you can check the schedule on this site. In addition we also have a game night on Friday nights at 9:00 PM. This year, Game Night is held in the Ivory Tower Common room. We play video games, board games, DDR, Rock Band, and socialize on Friday nights. There’s something for everyone, so come and check it out! We also usually go out to dinner at 7:30 before Game Nights. We meet in front of the Marvin Center and go to a variety of different places. It’s a great time to get to know the other members. The GW Anime Society also sponsors a group trip to Katsucon in February and holds special events on Halloween and Valentine’s Day.
