You want to diversify the different genre of anime you are watching, but sometimes 25 episodes is just way too much. Hell, even 12 episodes is too much for my schedule. You might not even like it in the end. This group will assist you in providing a [insert anime here] in a nutshell video, usually in the form of a compilation movie, or a short story post. You can then decide to continue with the series through watching it's sequel, or marathon the original casting.
The reason for watching a recap/movie version of the TV series is of the following:
1. You're out of the loop and don't care to see the series itself.
2. Too little time on your hands and want to extend your knowledge about different anime.
3. You want to watch the sequels because you heard it was good, but the prequels were bad.
4. Assuming it's a partial recap or summary, you want to finish a series, but not spend 50 episodes on it.
5. You want to claim you have watched an entire series of something without spending the time to watch the full length TV series.
Either way, you're here now. You only care to see the characters and the general plot. You probably don't enjoy watching anime as much as claiming to know every single plot and character. Be warned that you will be missing out on the true experience of a series by watching a recap. Unfortunately, not every anime has a recap episode, so you can request a summary or a quick recap down below, or contribute something for.
Here's how much time you would save by watching the following on the side (work in progress):
