Information

Maybe you do not like shonen-ai series at all for any reason. Maybe you do like but want to make fun of them. Maybe you have anything against but you don't like the obsessive hype around certain characters or series. Maybe you don't really care but you just want to have fun with other people, chatting and trolling. 

Whatever the reasons, here's the right place for you.

Beware the cute boyz™, people. But above all, beware the  fanboys and fangirls obsessed with stereotypes.

Now, I have no PROBLEM with yaoi. I mean, love is love. I'd be a hypocrite (seeing as I'm bisexual myself) if I said anything else. I have gay friends IRL too and I love them to bits.

But.

Yaoi is TERRIBLY overrated. I am SO tired of seeing stupid fangirls decide one character is gay for another because "IT'S CANNON."

NO.

A lot of the time, it's because they don't like the females in the series... therefore, the males must be gay. It's either that, or childish jealousy of a fictional woman ("if I can't have him, that whore can't -- HE'S GAY!") that fuels a large portion of the yaoi fanbase.

Now, in SOME cases, yaoi pairings are cannon and exceptional. In that case, said pairings are very cute and I'd enjoy watching them. But it better be spelled out on screen that both members are gay because otherwise, I won't buy it.

Also, Loveless, Gravitation and other said shounenai animes usually SUCK. When the ukes are pretty much women with penises, I think there's a problem. I bet you anything if those series' were about heterosexual relationships, they wouldn't be nearly as popular.
