I just finished reading, AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Christie and Matt are awesome, and I like how she still loves him despite the eye thing >.< I plan to check out this author and see if they have any other mangas :3

Hello everyone. I'm new:)
I love this manga! Absolutly great. I happened to be reading it in class, and I started cracking up everytime something funny happened. I know it's not a traditonal manga from Japan, but the humour and great? loveable characters make up for it. Love, love, love this manga!

For those who don't know volume 1 of Svetlana Chmakova's Night School will be released some time around the end of April 2009.

It is so refreshing to read a manga that is not cliche. The characters are so real and have depth to them. I love the fact that Christie is not your average girl in mangas. I mean she can actually take care of herself! In most of the mangas I've read the female protagonist is a naive girl who can't get away from a guy who's coming at them and has to be "rescued" all the time.
Honestly, I think this is the best manga that I've read to date. It's hilarious! I'm glad I judged a book by its cover for once and picked it up. It makes me really excited to go to Otakon this year (which will be my first anime convention, by the way). ^_^

Its a great manga, at the back of the first volume it says the mangaka was born in Russia and moved to Canada when she was 16, therefore obviously not american lol.
