He did not pass the first found of audition, but when he gave back his number plate to a strange man, the man, who seemed to be Johnny Kitagawa, asked him to stay. For this, Akanishi~kun passed in the Johnny & Associates at the age of 14. His seems to be in the same time with Nakamaru Yuuichi, Kamenashi Kazuya, Yamashita Tomohisa, and Fujigaya Taisuke. Akanishi~kun has written the lyrics to many songs for KAT-TUN and for himself, including "care", "Hesitate", and "LOVE or LIKE". He can play the guitar and has also composed both song and lyrics for "Murasaki (ムラサキ, Murasaki?)", "ha-ha", and "PINKY".
