Recently, there have been strange murders in this little village. So far, seven people have died, and the most recent example is Hanao Mayoko, the old farmer lady. She was very popular in the village for always having treated everyone nice and kindly, and when she died last month, everyone was sad. Most people have already left it behind them, though, and the everyday life continues in Tokoyama village. Though, not everyone was able to forget it. 21 specific village members can't let the thought go that something's going on, and without telling anyone, not even each other, about these thoughts, they individually go on their missions to find out what's happening.
