Now after digging up more information I have unraveled that Harubin is a fan-made interpretation of Haruhi. As for the Olympics pamphlet, it could be just a rumor running around the internet. Who knows, maybe it was done even in the US by someone who knows Chinese. Just stamp it with the Olympics logo of Beijing. What do we have? A great big joke. Still, most probably Chinese though, but Harubin is not officially acknowledged by any commitee in the Beijing Summer Olympics 2008. Thus fan-made!!
