Layla Hamilton. Flying like the Queen

Layla Hamilton is one of the major characters in the anime Kaleido Star. Until the end of the first season, she was the number one star at Kaleido Stage as well as one of the most hard to work with people in the business. She is also the idol of Sora, as well as May, when she was training herself for Kaleido Stage. When Sora comes to join Kaleido Stage, Layla is the first to reject her. But with help from Sora's hard work, determination and personality, Layla opens her heart and becomes one of Sora's many friends. She is voiced by Sayaka Ohara in the Japanese version and by Sandra Krasa in the English version. With the history she has with her father, who she wants to please very much, Layla is probably the character with the most struggling life.
