Island in the Sky

Due to the teleportation circles many more people are finding out about it's existence. However it keeps well enough protected for one to have yet to see it float in the sky. This land is filled with beautiful architecture, giant flowers, floating fish, gentle and fearsome creatures, and Fae (Or Faeries). The land holds pride in their precious color, and their perfectly flowing rainbows. The people that occupy this land have a lot to do, whether they are pirates that sail through the skies, rainbow collectors that collect the colors from spent rainbows and dispose of them, or simply a scholar that knows all there is to know about their land. Kirish holds itself to high standards and the government rarely does a thing unplanned.<!--color--></span><!--center--></div> <span style="color:indigo">Welcome to our Roleplay! Magical powers and lively energy abounded from her, making everyone want her, want her powers and magic and beauty, that her parents sent her away from all of those chasing her, bad and 'good' promising that one day, they will meet again. Her mother was the goddess of the earth sentenced to a life in a humans body. Her father was a wizard by blood donating all of his magic to save the young girls life. They walked her to a portal not knowing where it led she stepped on and was instantly transported to a small piece of land in the sky. No one lived there, and it was barely big enough to support her. The girl, not yet the Sky Princess, used all of her magic to build on to this land, she made the land large and sent her power into the land to keep her afloat, she created unique creatures to live on this beautiful land with plants and seeds to those plants. But the most beautiful thing she made were the people. At first she created two families, and gave them their own magical powers, good powers of course, gave them all their own magic traits, and made sure all babies living on the island had unique personalities and magic, even if they hadn't originated from there. After some time, she decided this large floating landmass needed a name. She decided to name it Kirish, in her country's tongue it meant 'Beauty in the Sky'. Considering these actions made her the Goddess of Kirish~ Her life is eternal, however, many years ago, a corrupt and evil king had kidnapped the Princess and sentenced her to eternity in a birdcage underneath the castle, in the dungeon. Of course, that's just an old legend. However, they do have the occasional Blizzard and Rainstorm, but that doesn't happen very often. While they do have rain, it is man-made and generally only to help after a drought or dry season. When it does rain in other places around Laia, a thick cloud of mist and fog settles in to the island. Generally, the floating island is mild in the first two seasons, and cold in the last two. They must have some sort of magical attributes and such. Humans, Elves, and Dwarves are the MAIN people you will see walking about, however your character may be anyone/thing.
