Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin

Shiro, the father of Riki, the legendary bear-dog. Yamabuki, mate of Shiro and the mother of Riki. Just like Gin, Riki was born last and he was the smallest one, no one thought he would be a good bear-dog. His brothers and sisters were taken away and placed in new homes, while he got to stay with his mother, he was a spoiled puppy and was met with kindness wherever he went. He got the name "Riki" that means Strength, so they hoped he would grow big and strong. "So the little mistake, got the big name Riki" He later got separated from his mother and decided to run away from home, to be able to go see Yamabuki again. He was hunted by stray dogs and fell into a river. He was saved by a dog, who taught him to be strong. He later found out, that dogs name, was Shiro.
