Del Ray Hiatus/Canceled Series Info Club

Del Ray Manga <span style="text-decoration:line-through;">was<!--strike--></span> is a manga publishing company that started off with highly anticipated titles, acquired more and provided hiqh quality books but went out with a whimper, not a bang. DRM still publishes <em>something</em> every now and then but has, more or less, dropped a bunch of titles leaving them canceled or on hiatus.What's worse is that they do not communicate with their customers when asked about the future of their company (their website recently changed to a less than helpful addition to their Suvudu site). <strong>Titles w/ Publishing Status Unknown</strong>: <ul> <li><strong>Yozakura Quartet</strong>: the last volume came out a year ago on Sept 29/09. Before that the publishing schedule was roughly five months between volumes. <li><strong>Princess Resurrection</strong>: the last volume appeared on Nov 24/09. <li><strong>Nodame Cantabile</strong>: last published on July 28th/09. The planned volumes 17 and 18 were canceled. <li><strong>Maid War Chronicles</strong>: last volume came out in Aug 25/09. Only two volumes were published. <li><strong>Gakuen Prince</strong>: last volume published on Sept 29/09. <li><strong>Pumpkin Scissors</strong>: series canceled? Source confirmation needed. <li><strong>Pastel:</strong> series canceled? Source confirmation needed. </ul></ol> This club serves to bring together people who are upset about this lack of communication and lack of customer loyalty. Hopefully we can gather together information about what's going on. If you have something to contribute, please do. Or just vent and whine about the lack of your books.
