This is the world of nothing. There is nothing here. The only things that exist here are the things that are defined by those in it. Well, technically, no one is in it yet, because no one has been defined. But who controls this world? You do. I do, too. We all do. But right now we are just floating consciousnesses in a world of nothing, not actually existing yet. It's not a dark world, because darkness does not exist yet. But then, neither does light so it's not bright either. Nor is it in between. It is simply nothing. Less than nothing, actually, because in order to have nothing you first must have it's opposite: something. There is nothing to define as something, so there is no nothing. How will this world take shape? That is up to us. This is our world. This is the World of Nothing.

This is essentially a roleplay of gods and creation. It's an experiment I've tried a couple times before. It's an exercise in creativity and, to some extent, lunacy. The worlds generated so far have developed into worlds quite similar to our own. I consider that a failure. I'm hoping for wacky and bizarre worlds that could only be dreamed up the clinically insane.
Now for some rules and guidelines:
1. In the beginning of a world, there are no limits. None at all. Likewise, nothing exists. You have ultimate freedom, but there is nothing for you to do.
2. When one thing is defined, so is its opposite. With light, comes darkness.
3. You cannot make use of something that doesn't exist. For example, you can't see without light.
4. Once a principle has been brought into existence, you cannot go against it. For example, if I (or any player) say that all things are made of marshmallow fluff, then all things are made of marshmallow fluff and there is not much you can do about it. (Bad example, though, since you have to have marshmallows before marshmallow fluff.)
5. You can create anything, and no one can tell you otherwise, so long as the materials/prerequisites/principles needed for your thing to exist already do. For example, you can't make steel without iron.
6. Fundamental logic is universal. 2 plus 2 will always equal 4.
7. Write in full sentences with proper grammar. If you can't do that, don't participate. Also try to write several lines at least, and be detailed and creative.
8. Be creative and have fun with it! It's not any fun if you just recreate our world. Make a world made of marshmallow fluff where everything falls upward and light and shadow are switched. The insane and bizarre is greatly encouraged!
