P/S:There's a good reason this club is under Japan section.As one of their fans said,"Once you hear the story of the Yamato,it becomes an obsession".

Anyone been to the Yamato museum in Kure? It's freakin awesome! I drove from Tokyo to Hiroshima for the sole purpose of going there :3

Musashi,according to the record,was launched on 1st Nov 1940 and officially commisioned on 5th August 1942(following this reason,she was called the "imouto" battleship,since Yamato were commisioned a year earlier(16 Dec 1941) ;P).Not much records were found on Musashi,though,since most fans focused toward Yamato.

They were planning to make more ships of the Yamato-class,but were cancelled(mostly due to the budget cuts and stuffs.Others say they were too big).Only to be named Warship #111 and #797,the first one's hull completion was only at 30%,therefore scrapped.The later weren't laid down.

the musashi was never launched im pretty sure.... and the yamamoto was sunk by allied forces, even though it was the most powerful ship in the world at the time
