Misao Amano/Pixy Misa Fan Club!

Pure and simple - this fan club is devoted to the adoration of Misao Amano and her nefarious alter ego, Pixy Misa! Can't get enough of the sweet, innocent tragedy that is Misao? Or maybe you're just swept away by the mischevious antics of Mahou Shoujo Pixy Misa? Come chat with some like minded otaku! For those not familiar with Misao, she's Sasami Kawai's best friend in the Mahou Shoujo Pretty Sammy TV and OAV series. Dorothy could have been describing herself and Misao at the same time when she introduced herself to the Great Oz as '--the small and meek.' Patient and soft spoken, Misao is the quintescential elegant young waif-girl that sorrow always seems to be haunting. Her father Shigeki is a concert pianist, and as such is nearly always touring the world rather than being in his daughter's life. Misao's mother, Kotoe, has been obliged by her husband's abscence to return to the workforce, and poor little Misao is therefore relegated to being a latchkey kid. It's not that her parents don't care, they just have so many demands on their time that Misao is often left longing for the kind of parental involvement Sasami has in the form of her invincible father Ginji and his endlessly devoted bride, Honoka. Misao only seems to get any joy out of life when playing the piano like her father taught her, and it seems as though her only friend other than Sasami is a beautiful multicolored bird that tends to flutter around her at the strangest times. Why then, does Misao always end up blacking out and waking up in strange places whenever she sees the bird about? That bird is none other than Rumiya, the little brother of Ramia, in competition to be the next queen of the magical kingdom of Juraihelm! Ramia's rival Tsunami has already enlisted the aid of the hapless young Sasami to be her champion, entrusted with the ambiguous task of restoring the balance of good versus evil on earth. Thus the birth of Pretty Sammy! What's a jealous, power hungry evil magical princess to do in the face of such goody-goodyness? THe answer's simple, goad your little brother into recruiting a champion of your own, to make poor Pretty Sammy's life miserable and (hopefully) cost Tsunami the throne! Enter poor little Misao, who'd never hurt a fly. Ramia's twisted plan is to use Sasami's own best friend as the catalyst to her demise, and so Rumiya is sent in his animal form to periodically hypnotize a helpless little girl and mutate her into the mischevious, competitive, and pretty much insane Mahou Shoujo Pixy Misa! Poor Rumiya ends up a teased and tortured sidekick to Misa, but it's better than enduring his sister's wrath. What's a boy to do? Thus Misao (initially not knowing about Misa) comes to believe she's just suddenly become prone to fits of unconsciousness, and it's only due to the beauty of her heart that she's not driven to insanity by all of this. The real question is--is Pixy Misa an entirely different person, conjured up by magic? Or is she just another, deeply guarded aspect of Misao's personality? The possibilities are endless!
