Akari has an ill will towards Junpei in the beginning because of her sister's crush on him. She attempts to scare Junpei away from her twin, Kotone, which doesn't really work at first since he had no idea they were twins. In reality, she is just scared to lose her sister. She is first seen when she tells Jupei she can see spirits and knows he was cursed. Kotone Kirishima (桐島 琴音) She is the older one of the twins and has a crush on Junpei because of his "natural tendency for sorrow". She seems to be the more mature one of the pair, but she actually had kept a fantasy diary on Junpei before and had stalked him daily. Junpei described her as being a denpakei, or a girl that is usually friendly, behaves well, but has a dark hidden side, that's usually a bit creepy and slightly psychotic.
