Honorable Mention of the Moment: Pigs in Anime: They have voice actors too! <div class="spoiler"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.nextSibling.nextSibling.style.display='block';this.style.display='none';" value="Show spoiler"> <span class="spoiler_content" style="display:none"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.parentNode.style.display='none';this.parentNode.parentNode.childNodes[0].style.display='block';" value="Hide spoiler"><br> CLAMP: For creating Kobato, one of the most expecting anime of the 2009 Fall season <!--spoiler--></span></div> Anime I find interesting: -<!--link--><a href="http://myanimelist.net/anime/240/Genshiken">Genshiken</a>: It's an anime about an anime club full of otakus, what's not to find interesting. Genshiken, a well known anime, follows the lives, and futures in the second season, of a series of otaku. This anime is in my interest because it manages to create humor in an environment that, truthfully, would not be difficult to recreate in the real world. <div class="spoiler"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.nextSibling.nextSibling.style.display='block';this.style.display='none';" value="Show spoiler"> <span class="spoiler_content" style="display:none"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.parentNode.style.display='none';this.parentNode.parentNode.childNodes[0].style.display='block';" value="Hide spoiler"><br> -<!--link--><a href="http://myanimelist.net/anime/2026/Hayate_the_Combat_Butler!">Hayate no Gotoku</a>: This anime is on here because of its unusual outragousness and almost perfect use of parody. However, that is only the tip of the iceburg. This anime manages to break the fourth wall beautifully, and enough to be mentioned here. -<!--link--><a href="http://myanimelist.net/anime/2001/Tengen_Toppa_Gurren_Lagann">Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann</a>: A highly regarded anime among anime lovers and regular viewers alike, this anime is more intelligent than most give credit for. TTGL makes references to well known pieces of literature, makes perfect use of symbolism, and puts many political ideals to practice - <!--link--><a href="http://myanimelist.net/anime/3297/Aria_the_Origination">Aria the Origination</a>: Settle and slow, yet captifying and beautiful. There is no question what so ever why this anime is so highly regarded. <!--spoiler--></span></div> Characters I find interesting: -<!--link--><a href="http://myanimelist.net/character/2627/Miyako">Miyako</a>: Just an adorable character that makes the entire series of Hidamari Sketch work. She is the main force behind the humor of the anime, and makes the viewers laugh using some of the most unusual methods. <div class="spoiler"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.nextSibling.nextSibling.style.display='block';this.style.display='none';" value="Show spoiler"> <span class="spoiler_content" style="display:none"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.parentNode.style.display='none';this.parentNode.parentNode.childNodes[0].style.display='block';" value="Hide spoiler"><br> -<!--link--><a href="http://myanimelist.net/character.php?id=2075">Kamina</a>: One of the most radical and inspirational characters in anime history, Kamina is the first leader of team Gurren Lagann, as he tries to bring the humans back to the surface of the Earth. Why is he here? Because of his memorable quotes! Kamina alone makes up over half of the epic quotes made in TTGL, and for that deserves to be listed. -<!--link--><a href="http://myanimelist.net/character.php?id=4158">Kyoko Mogami</a>: Not your average shojo female lead, Kyoko has a dark side that is not seen in any other shojo character. She is fearful, hating, vengeful, and yet manages to be cute and charming. - <!--link--><a href="http://myanimelist.net/character.php?id=252">Kyon</a>: And that is all he is known as. He, although it doesn't seem like it, is the one that makes The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya work. With his snide remarks and quick observations, he thoroughly entertains the viewers. <!--spoiler--></span></div> Clubs I find interesting: -<!--link--><a href="http://myanimelist.net/clubs.php?cid=10608">MAL Welcoming Club</a>: This is the club to go to when you join myanimelist. With friendly characters, high activity, and great recommendations, it becomes easy to become a part of the community. <div class="spoiler"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.nextSibling.nextSibling.style.display='block';this.style.display='none';" value="Show spoiler"> <span class="spoiler_content" style="display:none"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.parentNode.style.display='none';this.parentNode.parentNode.childNodes[0].style.display='block';" value="Hide spoiler"><br> - <!--link--><a href="http://myanimelist.net/clubs.php?cid=10307">L0G1C P4RK</a>: An outragous club that expands the imagination, and encourages the imagination. But it's on here because the name caught my attention. - <!--link--><a href="http://myanimelist.net/clubs.php?cid=8711">How to Watch Anime</a>: This club is not on here because of its massive size, it's misleading name, or its rather interesting back story. No, it's on here because of the pandemic of "How to" clubs that seemed to follow the creation and success of this one. One such copy cat club is the How to Find Anime club, another well known club on MAL. - <!--link--><a href="http://myanimelist.net/clubs.php?cid=450">MAL chain of stalkers!!</a>: Very few anime are based upon a single concept from a single anime, and I personally can't think of a better one than the "Chain of Stalkers" from the first season of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. Lead them out of town Mr. Xinil. <!--spoiler--></span></div> People I find interesting: -<!--link--><a href="http://myanimelist.net/profile/CCs_No1_Fanboy">CCs_No1_Fanboy</a>: Self proclaimed biggest C.C. fan on myanimelist, and from the things he has done, probably not lying. He's married C.C., though he seems to have a thing for Clannad ~After Story~ and Alice at the moment. <div class="spoiler"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.nextSibling.nextSibling.style.display='block';this.style.display='none';" value="Show spoiler"> <span class="spoiler_content" style="display:none"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.parentNode.style.display='none';this.parentNode.parentNode.childNodes[0].style.display='block';" value="Hide spoiler"><br> - <!--link--><a href="http://myanimelist.net/profile/Master_M2K">Master_M2K</a>: Known as one of the most helpful reviews on myanimelist, but not why he's on here. This guy is the creator of not one, but two successful abridged series, working constantly with his team to make the funny come to life. - <!--link--><a href="http://myanimelist.net//profile.php/AznSensation?username=AznSensation&t=&v=">AznSensation</a>: Also known as the member of MAL with the greatest number of completed anime, and one of the most massive lists on MAL. Having completed over half of the anime listed in the entirety of the website in 17 years, AznSensation continues to add onto his list now. - <!--link--><a href="http://myanimelist.net/profile/tehnominator">tehnominator</a>: She is the top rated review on myanimelist. But this is not the reason why she is in the list of people I find interesting. Instead of elaborating upon the anime that have already been reviewed countless times, she gives the love to less known anime in hope of showing others the treasures they really are. <!--spoiler--></span></div> General Disgraces: FALL 2009 Anime Season: For just being so terrible. <div class="spoiler"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.nextSibling.nextSibling.style.display='block';this.style.display='none';" value="Show spoiler"> <span class="spoiler_content" style="display:none"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.parentNode.style.display='none';this.parentNode.parentNode.childNodes[0].style.display='block';" value="Hide spoiler"><br><!--spoiler--></span></div>
