Anti-Ignorance: OPEN YOUR EYES

Just going around reading up on some clubs and their discussion boards, I sometimes find it interesting how ignorant the community (myself included) can get at times, whether it be about subs vs. dubs, stereotyping, prejudices, general misconceptions of Japan, or whatever else you can name. Now, I understand we all have our biases, but I think it's best that these problems get addressed and that people have a chance to see that there is more to things than meets the eye. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to preach to anyone, I just think it might be better to have a club where problems and misunderstandings can be discussed without fear of being bashed for whatever reason.
