About the battle against Isaac, I had lost once too. Apparently, you need to get one of your weaker comrades to approach the healer and the wizard at the lower left-side of the screen, convince them to join your cause against the coup d'etat. They will switch side but the guy (wizard) and girl (healer) aren't very helpful. Not just that the damage or healing abilities of them does very less, they also take forever to cast spells. However, if you chose not to convince the indecisive partners, then you will get a Mission Failure screen after the battle as those two are not Isaac Faction members but regular PMB members who don't know what to do as that Seldous got locked up by Isaac.

Remember to get Randall or Krious to use Thievery at Isaac for something good. The reason why I lost the battle once was that I had Randy in my team as opposed to Krious who is twice stronger. However, Randy can open doors that nobody else can, I think.. Just remember to use Fire Arrow Lv9 at the healers and the wizards. First, kill all the healers. Then, proceed to kill off all the wizards before fighting anybody. Otherwise, by the time you reach Issac, your team's HP will either be critically low or that everyone except the protagonist are dead..

Also, try to keep the healer and wizard you convince alive. If they fought alongside you and die, you will still get the Mission Failure screen which might affect the ending, not sure though..

wow, so not cool....I also checked the walkthroughs at Gamfaqs whenever I'm lost of my mission and wat to do next.

NOW I HAVE TROUBLE DEFEATING SIR ISAAC WHEN GOING INTO THE CONTROL ROOM OF THE ADMONISHER!!! SOMEONE PLS HELP ME (?)!!! WAT'S THE STRATEGY??

Compared to the Shin Megami Tensei series, it seems as though the Growlanser series is actually lagging behind in both sales and popularity.

Anyhow, I have just beaten Mission 36 of the walkthrough at Gamefaqs which I don't follow. It was one of the most annoying battles ever in which I cannot heal or fight the majority of the time. The sad thing was that my attack power was about 10+ times of Krious who is the second strongest. The battle dragged for longer than 30 minutes..

Oh.. That's Randy in Juwaina..

The guy also turns out to be somebody that was somewhat impressive later on in the story.. I won't spoit it for you..^^

awesome! A Growlanser club!! I just started playing Growlanser last week, and i think i am in the part were Haschen and the other is gonna meet... the doctor with a large cape? i forgot his name, the event in the jungle village
