Asian Ball Jointed Doll Collectors Association
When a Japanese company called Volks came out with the Super Dollfie is 1999 it layed the framework for what would become resin ABJD collecting both in Japan and abroad. ABJDs or also BJDs are a doll with articulated points, made of resin, and held together by a type of string. The dolls were started in Japan but are now made in China and Korea. Although BJDs are made in other countries as well this club is for fans of the Asian Aesthetic.
All Asian and Japanese dolls can be talked about in the forums except for fasion dolls like Momoko and dolls with no articlutated points are also excluded.
