Ahhh i love this Anime, it's a shame that it's kinda "underground".

I want to see it translated and brought over here, BUT I want to see it done WELL! And for those who haven't seen it... gosh they are missing out on somehting, no?

I'm really happy. Just finished downloading the Ayatsuri Sakon batch torrents served up by the Ayatsuri Sakon Project (ASP) at:

http://tracker.minglong.org/asp/

Thanks to the ASP and a steady supply of dedicated seeders, getting this rare series didn't take nearly as long as I had feared it would.

I'm looking forward to watching this series!!! Yay!!!

Bunraku is awesome, I would love to see it performed live. ^^

For mysteries, I liked Pet Shop of Horrors:

and Monster (although it's not really a mystery, it has got enough surprises that it entertains like one:

I'm stoked!!! There are more seeders today, and the bittorrent ETA is down to only ~270 hours!!!

Many thanks to Feena-c for having created this club! I just *know* that I'm gonna love this series. Really classic, great series are hard to find.

Last year, I decided that life was too short not to take a trip to Japan. By sheer luck, there were Bunraku performances playing in Osaka. I don't know if Ayatsuri Sakon covers this, but Bunraku plays aren't shown year-round. You can't count on shows being in season.

They had English-language headphones supplying commentary. From this, I learned that it takes about 30 years for a puppeteer to master handling all of the body parts--legs, arms and hands, and face.

Absolutely amazing. I recommend it to anyone interested in Japanese cultural tradition.

I know. I've looked but good mystery is hard to find. The closest I've found is Ghost Hunt, but it is not as culturally rich.

those are the reasons I love it too. I wish there were more anime like Sakon
