He is one of the top famous physics scientist. He came to become a teacher in girls academy because he was lacking funds to continue his research.
He falls in love with Yurine Kayama. One day when he is drunk, his friends take him together with Yurine and leave them on one bed which leads to them having a deep bond. But Yurine rejects him.
He is later hinted to be in love with Hirose Aoi. It is implied when he gets kissed by Haruka and after she leaves getting embarrassed about her actions he tells for himself that he is disappointed that it was Haruka and not Hirose that kissed her.
Later Yuu decides to start studying once again as a university student and plans to leave the academy. Before leaving the academy she asks Hirose if she wants to come with him to America as she can get better opportunities make use of her knowledge. But, is rejected by her and she tells that she has friends she can rely on and she knows that everyone will be jealous of her but still she loves the worlds with its faults.
Later when he goes to visit last time to his room where he used to do researches, Haruka comes to him and asks him whether she can visit him again when she becomes successful in being a model, to which he answers a yes.
After some years, Haruka reunites with Yuu as she became a famous model as promised. And he even manages to reunite with Hirose, as Hirose has become a famous researcher. It is hinted that Yuu ends up with Haruka.
