Lance (ランセ)A traveling bishop of the Barsburg Church who oversees the Bishop's Apprentice Exam; he works with Frau, Castor and Labrador.Lance is very flamboyant and often behaves in a dramatic way. He often expresses his emotions through dance, speaks loudly, and makes exaggerated arm movements as he talks. He has a tendency to not think things through. Lance has an interest in astrology and reads horoscopes. He has a very poor sense of orientation: he once got so lost, he had to travel through 6 districts instead of only 2, which led the other bishops to believe he was dead. Lance is very confident and rather vain. He has a very sharp art sense and has a great appreciation of art and beauty. He doesn't get along well with Frau; seen when Lance referred to him as his rival, and Frau tried to chop his neck off upon seeing his arrival to the church. His relationship with Castor isn't the best either; when Lance first came back to the church he didn't even remember Castor's name, and he still mostly refers to him as "glasses" or "otaku". However they do care about each other, and Castor even gave up his possible position as Assistant Archbishop and recommended Lance instead, as he figured Lance would like the position better. Lance is shown to be friends with Labrador and looks up to him, and calls him "Master Lab". Voice Actors
