Kumasawa served Beatrice Ushiromiya in Kuwadorian, helped raise Yasu after they were found to have survived the cliff incident, and collaborated in hiding Kinzo's death. Kumasawa taught Yasu the meaning of magic and led to them becoming Beatrice.
