Munenori Yagyuu (柳生 宗矩)Yagyu is the martial arts instructor for the Oda clan and is also known as the "The Peerless Swordsman". He is an outwardly polite and discerning individual, though he has been seen to show notably visceral excitement in matters involving violence and fighting strength (such as when the Tenkaichi tournament was announced and when he met Honda Tadakatsu in person); the Buddhist monks Hozoin In'ei and Hozoin Inshun noted that beneath his serene persona was hidden a truly intense bloodlust.
