Alexander W. Wood is the President of the United States. Alex is renowned as a thinker, spending long amounts of time thinking about a problem from every angle until he reaches a conclusion that he believes is objectively correct. He does not take a firm position on political matters until he's satisfied that he's found the right answer.
Alex was born in Boston. As a child he was constantly sick and unable to play with other children or go to school. One day he decided to overcome his illness through any means possible and eventually did so. That experience shaped his views on thinking, driving him to resolve issues by considering all possibilities and contemplating them to the extent that time permits.
In college, he began playing an MMORPG where he quickly became the #1 player. When he was approached by a new player who asked him to teach her how to play the game, he agreed and she eventually asked him out to dinner to thank him. When they met, Alex saw she was an extremely beautiful woman named Emma, and he felt insecure. After their date, he attempted to end things, convinced that she was out of his league, but she convinced him not to overthink everything and kissed him. After dating for 8 years, they got married and had a son.
