Kiara is essentially a proper lady with a neat and tidy way of speaking. Her personality is introverted, timid and active. A graceful and elegant woman, but by no means straight-laced.
Possessing the nonchalance and tolerance to respond to any joke with a smile, her personality is warm and tender. Despite showing a chaste sense of values and speech, her words sometimes have a strange eroticism.
Gentle yet assertive. Vigorous despite feeble-looking. Empathetic and filled with compassion. She possess the thoughtfulness to perceive the truth of things, read the hearts of all people and properly understand their standpoint・anguish.
Dressed in a nun’s attire, she doesn’t cut her hair (tonsure) and instead just keeps it tucked under her nun veil.
Both on the outside and the inside, she is a talented woman overflowing with graceful beauty… She seems wonderful, but at the same time she is a bit absent-minded, and seems to have a lot of knowledge about sex… Rather than “Holy Woman”, she would be more appropriately labeled as a “kind air-head ero-older-sister.”
Master of Caster and the true antagonist of the story, who participated in the Moon Cell Holy Grail War for her own desire in order to save people. She is the reason that BB was unleashed, when she interfered with Sakura Matou's program. She met BB before everybody in the Moon Cell Holy Grail War. She was captured by BB when she was imprisoned by the black noise on the near side. She made a peace treaty pact with BB, BB would spare Kiara's life as long as Kiara never antagonized BB. Thus she was confined to the school. Kiara was being observed by BB, so she couldn’t say anything that would suggest BB's existence.
Although she was born as the daughter of the Shingon Tachikawa Eiten School head, she was bedridden until she was approximately 14 years old due to her illness. She learnt Spiritron-hacking from fellow worshippers. Afterwards she reformed the Tachikawa Eiten School, rapidly increasing the number of believers over the internet and became the leader of the cult.
Kiara Sesshouin saved many lost people with the doctrine of Tachikawa-ryu as her foundation, however, the virtual religious cult no longer exists. All of the believers who followed Kiara committed suicide, men and women adored her so much that they killed themselves. People who fell deeply in love, people who were addicted to maltreating her, people who were dependent on conversation with her, people who hated her to death, people who lost themselves in carnality. All with the same result. Suicide.
After absorbing Passionlip, Meltryllis, BB and Sakura Matou and through Caster's Noble Phantasm and the Moon Cell, Kiara reaches a similar existence to a True Daemon and Saver, known as Heaven's Hole, and gains the Noble Phantasm Angra Mainyu/CCC. She becomes a new god descended from the Covetous Mother Goddess: The antagonist of Buddha. Only Saver, who has by all rights mastered the esoteric ability to completely turn off his sexual desire, is able to match up to this woman incarnate.
Normally, no normal human could stand against her but she lost to Hakuno due to the girls that were absorbed, wanting to protect their love for Hakuno and resisted inside her body. Caster scorn her, calling her an idiot that charged right into the fight with no regards to that one weakness. She dies saying that she was not defeated by a Hero nor a Savior but by women like her.
In her final moment before fading away, Kiara asks Andersen about one thing that she never managed to understand: the difference between the two loves (Ai and Koi).
Brought up in the same circumstances as the Kiara of the Fate/EXTRA CCC until she was 14 years old, her life developed differently from that point due to a doctor from outside the mountains curing her condition. She was no longer imprisoned in her bed, able to leave the mountains to have a happy life. Differing from the CCC her who went on to found a cult that perpetuated death, Kiara's "saintly nature" saved many people. This also caused her to be attacked by organizations who had vested interests in the fields in which she saved people. With complaints like, "Why are you outdoing us in our field, and for free at that!?", they made her out to be a villain, so she lost her place of belonging and later got hired as a psychiatrist by Seraphix, a division of the Chaldea Security Organization, to care for the mental well being of the staff. Given a church as her office, she enjoyed helping people and glimpsing the secret behind Seraphix.
She was later possessed by the Demon God Zepar, who escaped the Time Temple and willingly gave her body as a sanctuary. Combining with the Demon God allowed her to see through the Multiverse including herself in CCC, causing her to formulate a plan to save humanity based on this "experience". Her overwhelming desire ultimately subdued the Demon God and succeeded in turning Seraphix into a virtual space, becoming Beast III/R, infant stage of the Beast.
Ultimately, she schemed to become one with the Earth, but her climax was obstructed by Meltryllis, BB, Passionlip and Chaldea’s Master. Kiara herself vanished at that time, but maybe due changing her way of thinking upon death, she left a portion of her power behind as an Alterego and accepted for it to be summoned by Chaldea in the future.
She is a teacher in charge of Japanese. When she first introduce herself, she jokes about being in charge of health and physical education. She used Hans Christian Andersen's literature as her teaching material. She overanalyzed The Little Mermaid with sexual innuendo interpretation.
