The male protagonist of Hand Shakers. Tazuna is a friendly and benevolent high-school student that is an expert at mechanics and spends his time doing repairs for people who asks his help. His life is changed forever when he meets Koyori Akutagawa, a comatose girl who reminds Tazuna of his dead sister Musubu. Upon awakening Koyori, Tazuna becomes a Hand Shaker and Koyori's partner. Together, Tazuna and Koyori must fight other Hand Shakers and earn the right to meet God, who can grant them any wish they want.
Tazuna and Koyori eventually earn the right to meet God, but their memories of the event are suddenly erased. Furthermore, their allies Daichi Nagaoka and Mayumi Akutagawa disappear within the Ziggurat. Ten years later, Tazuna has decided to travel across Japan to search for clues in order to find their lost allies, while helping new Hand Shaker Yukiya Araki with his own struggles.
