Jinno

Perhaps one of the most noble and tragic characters

Once known as the boy Jinnosuke, he is perhaps the only friend Afro Samurai has ever known. Once a charismatic and young sub-leader of a secret sword school, fate destines that Jinnosuke get horribly disfigured and trapped in the powerful and twisted mechanical teddy bear helmet which earns him the name Kuma (which means "bear" in Japanese).

With his two-sword technique still in tact and even further enhanced by his cybernetic implants, Kuma is nearly unstoppable. Too bad that underneath this frighteningly powerful warrior is still the troubled mind of a good friend whose life light was snuffed out too early...
