A calculating sniper who takes part in the Murder Party.
When she is hired for a job, she rarely fails. At the end of the Murder Party, she is successful in sniping and ultimately killing Satori Hyoue. She survives the arc, and returns many times in the series. Her abilities are on full display in the Sakura of Oblivion arc, in which she outsmarts another sniper with very precisely calculated shots, killing him by weakening a ledge on a building and directing him to where she wants him to land without his knowledge. Kuroko often tries to get her to open up, but is never successful. She and her team often work on the same cases as Kuroko, but very rarely do they work together directly. She is occasionally mistaken for a man, which she dislikes. She dislikes Kuroko, and rarely interacts with characters in Kuroko's circle. She is the subject of a spin-off manga, Murcielago Arana, and information and characters from Arana are relevant to Murcielago's story, particularly in the Yamatsukami Family arc.
