Kemomimi lovers have come to the right place! Konohana Kitan and Nekogami Yaoyorozu are both cute and (sometimes) relaxing anime which are futhermore filled with elements from Japanese folklore such as the baku. Konohana Kitan is about youko / foxgirls, while Nekogami has like the name implies, nekomata / catgirls and has doggirls etc. as well. Also expect plenty of derp faces

Both have demigod girls who have come to earth and interact with humans and their friends. Both have a melancholy undertone lamenting the world that is changing.

❥Both are comedy anime without history ❥In both anime, all the characters are in every episode. ❥Both haves cute girls (even if Nekogami Yaoyoruzu has a male character... n.n; But most of them are girls.) ❥In both anime, there is a loli. ❥In both anime, there is someone who loves other character (In Gochuumon, Sharo & Rize. In Nekogami, Meiko, Sasana & Mayu).

Both of these animes are super cute, Nekogami being more innocent than Fruits Basket. They both have their cute innocent MC, and their ragtag team of Zodiacs/Gods. Nekogami is also, in my opinion, more comedic while Fruits Basket is more light-hearted. Anyways, if you’d Fruits Basket

Cute animal girls doing cute things with their friends. Both series have supernatural overtones, and lead characters trying to find their place in their worlds.

Supernatural girls come to earth and interact with humans in profound and touching ways.

A similar series as it deals with the lives of Nyan-Tan the personification of the mythycal cat from the chinise calendar as the character starts living in the human world. The main characters are really funny as the other side characters that are also the other personifications of the animals of the chinise calendar. Some parts deals with a good blend of 3D CG animation with 2D but is better than more of the japanese series that have tried that kind of style. Funny and cute also.

Natsume Yuujinchou is about the daily life of a boy named Takashi that inherits the ability to see & speak to yokai from his grandmother whereas Nekogami Yaoyorozu revolves around the daily life of a Cat God named Mayu that was expelled from her home & forced to live on earth. Both series give a calm yet not so boring vibe that makes you yearn for more. Another similarity that both series have are the heartwarming friendships the MC's gain throughout the series. Also note that Nekogami Yaoyorozu is more comedy oriented.

Nekogami is Touhou with different characters. And slightly different plot.

Fortune versus misfortune, godly powers trying to effect the world. Not to mention a bit of humor.

Same kind of humor. If someone enjoyed Hayate no Gotoku, they might like Nekogami Yaoyorozu as well. Both are non-ecchi and focus on the comedy aspect.

Nekogami Yaoyorozu are both slice-of-life comedy anime with a cute art style, a pinch of drama, and a rather similar sense of humor.

> SIMILARITIES: Everyday life comedies about "I got a new buddy who is not a human" - Both stories are about a human spending time and building a friendship with a creature from another area of his/her world (mythological creature or gods). - This creature have a half human, half animal body. - This creature is a weirdo among its fellows (the funny weirdo not the creepy one) because of a strong (but yet something annoying for the human which it so funny for us watcher) personality. - The stories take place in the human world but we get to discover the "other" world and the other  read more
