K-On! Movie

The Animation Kobe (アニメーション神戸) was an event established by Kobe in 1996 to promote anime and other visual media. The Animation Kobe Awards (アニメーション神戸賞) were given annually until 2015 by Kobe and the Organizing Committee to creators and creations.

Animation films released in Japan from September of the previous year to August of the event year become candidates. The candidates are selected not only from Japan, but also from other countries. However, the committee sees more importance in a point of view promoting young creators of Japan.

Films that were nominated for the Best Animation of the Year prize given by the Japan Academy Film Prize Association, first awarded in 2007. All five nominees are awarded the Excellent Animation of the Year (優秀アニメーション作品) by the association.

This list only contains entries which were nominated, but did not win the Best Animation of the Year prize.

Funny, relaxing series with fun characters and sometimes serialised storylines.

The "Scotland Loves Anime" film festival takes place every October in Glasgow and Edinburgh. It was started in 2010 and includes the "Golden Partridge" jury award and audience-voted awards.

The past winners of the Golden Partridge Award are as follows.

2011: Hotarubi no Mori e
2012: Berserk: Ougon Jidai-hen II - Doldrey Kouryaku
2013: Patema Inverted
2014: Giovanni no Shima
2015: Sarusuberi: Miss Hokusai

In 2012, the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney live action film also had its UK premiere at SLA.

In 2015, the Japan Animator Expo also had its EU premiere. These have been omitted from the list below due to space.

Also in 2015, the live action Attack on Titan movies (Part 1 and Part 2) were also given their EU premiere at SLA.

There's a lot I'd love to know about the site (and share with you) but I cannot understand everything on there and the site doesn't seem to have a Wikipedia page which is wild.

My friend Squilon made a Children having a bad time stack, so I made one to be a pallate cleanser in case you need it (the age range of the characters in his stack is different to this one)

The magazine was launched by publishing company Kadokawa Shoten on March 8, 1985, with its April issue, and has since seen regular release on the 10th of every month. The Awards begun in 2011, with the choices being made by popular voting. This will be updated every new award publication, having being updated in June 22, 2024.
