New Interest Stack
Interest StacksShows based on Vocaloid originals or involving utaites/producers who are/have been active on Nico Nico Douga (extended to YouTube for newer gens). These are the cream of the crop when it comes to slice of life romance anime. All of these shows do one thing exceptionally well, whether that be comedy, characters, or romance. This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious). The point of harems is generally to keep the options open; here's shows that actually have a conclusive romantic plotline. Was looking at some fan art one day and it came to my attention that fanart (and very good fanart) is an extremely good indicator of how important an anime is. So taking away the fanart factor from this list. Here is a list of very important anime. Bygone days spent as an otaku, often captured in OVA format, have been lost as trends shifted. It’s undeniably melancholic to see the evolving portrayal of otaku in a meta-sense and slowly watching the dwindling importance of Akiba-kei. As the title said, this is a collection of romantic comedy anime I had hunted since I started watching anime. Most will be School themed with your cliche plots and some will be a really worth to watch. So If you are finding some good romcom, I recommend that you try all entries in this stack. An anime that's main story focus have romance relationship between blood-related male and female characters (not in-law family member). "Is that a, uh, um, some reference?" This is a weird concept for a list, but I think it's worth putting it out there. These are anime which I consider help understand anime better because of their referential humour, commentary on otaku culture (whether it's anime or gaming), exploration of the industry and twisting of classic tropes in self-aware ways that put them in perspective. Also included a couple shows which are not necessarily meta or referential, but they are here for being aggresively "anime" in nature, if that makes sense. With how over the top they are and/or how stereotypically otaku their concepts are, I think they give a good idea of how anime has developed. Anime with girls, who really, really, really, really, REALLY like someone, but too tsundere to admit it, if that’s what you want. Where siblings, cousins, or those of close relations have romantic thoughts about one another, whether that's a good thing, or a bad thing. Either way, it's a type of love story some may enjoy. This stack is dedicated to the most popular, discussed and simply highly rated shows among the west millennial generation. If you were an avid anime fan in the 00s, want to see what was popular with your older relatives, or just learn hits from the past, then this stack is for you. |
