New Interest Stack
Interest StacksThese are H&E series I'd categorize as "Progressive." My collection of romance animes that will make you laugh out loud. It primarily focuses on the comedy rather than the romance itself. Still, watching these animes can really make your stomach hurts and make you feel the romance at the same time. This stack is a collection of anime with gods, goddesses, and/or deities. They can be based on existing beings from different legends and mythologies, or ones that only exist in the anime. If you crave some light-hearted, sweet, heartfelt romance anime at the moment! Contains little to none drama between the two main characters. This list includes no sequels or side stories. The point of harems is generally to keep the options open; here's shows that actually have a conclusive romantic plotline. A comprehensive watch order of the The World God Only Knows series, which includes every entry of the The World God Only Knows franchise. Bygone days spent as an otaku, often captured in OVA format, have been lost as trends shifted. It’s undeniably melancholic to see the evolving portrayal of otaku in a meta-sense and slowly watching the dwindling importance of Akiba-kei. As the title said, this is a collection of romantic comedy anime I had hunted since I started watching anime. Most will be School themed with your cliche plots and some will be a really worth to watch. So If you are finding some good romcom, I recommend that you try all entries in this stack. Interested in RomComs? Well, you've come to the right place! There's plenty of lists that just spew out every big-named anime in the genre, so this short-list is reserved for the very best. Note: Shows with multiple seasons will have only first season listed. Also note: List will be updated over time and will never be more than 10 anime. This is a weird concept for a list, but I think it's worth putting it out there. These are anime which I consider help understand anime better because of their referential humour, commentary on otaku culture (whether it's anime or gaming), exploration of the industry and twisting of classic tropes in self-aware ways that put them in perspective. Also included a couple shows which are not necessarily meta or referential, but they are here for being aggresively "anime" in nature, if that makes sense. With how over the top they are and/or how stereotypically otaku their concepts are, I think they give a good idea of how anime has developed. Sometimes, the tropes get tiring, so here's a list of romance anime that put a little twist on it, by adding a bit of occult, with supernatural beings and powers. This stack is an ultimate starter pack if you are looking for anime with genius protagonists or characters with considerably high IQ. If mind games and intelligent moments are your go-to interests, this is the perfect stack for you. Overflowing with situational comedy, the everyday school life of the most ordinary teenagers, a large number of side characters with various funny gimmicks that create a kind of elusion of the reality of this quirky world. The fun soundtrack, the urban setting, and the vibes of old teen shows from my childhood are one of the most valuable things I love about anime. I've always been particularly fond of big-cast shows like this because of the nostalgic high school atmosphere and sitcom style of humor they provided, so I wanted to create a separate list for that. |
