When I first heard about Inou Battle, I was told it was like another anime. But watching the characters reminded me more of Baka and Test. Both shows feature a love triangle in which a flat chested, tsundere girl and an air-headed girl with a decent-sized (Inou Battle) or massive (Baka and Test) chest pine over the main character, who acts like an idiot in one and is an idiot in the other. Both shows also feature some form of supernatural combat.

Similarities: Both are comedies in which a small group of high school boys get caught doing pervy things (e.g., peeping in the girl’s shower room) and, subsequently, are harshly punished by some of the school's girls. The boys are constantly trying to come up with plans to escape their predicaments. Some differences: Baka to Test generally has more of an upbeat, cheery vibe, whereas Prison School has more of a serious/darker vibe (though both are still comedies). Baka to Test is more episodic, and it delves into other story lines, whereas Prison School largely follows a singular story line.

share similarities in their humor and school settings, as well as in their characters' relationships and dynamics. is a great romantic comedy that blends humor and drama well, and features well-written and memorable characters that viewers can easily root for.

On the surface, not a lot of people will see the similarities. The premise for each are completely different. But one simple truth connects the two. If your looking for a high school anime with tons of high school antics, laughs and even some action thrown in, none could be better than these two anime. If you like one, I'm sure you'll like the other.

Both shows employ silly humor and common character tropes, have a healthy cast of both males and females who all have unique personalities and quirks, use love triangles as the main "romantic" comedy, occur in a high school where there appear to be no rules, and feature completely oblivious main characters who are still struggling to figure out this whole "flirting" thing. A lot of character traits transfer over, too. Practically every main character can be found in another main character in School Rumble. Minami is practically reincarnated as Eri, minus the flat chest jokes. So if you just finished Baka  read more

- Both are second seasons to excellent comedy series that will make you laugh more than once. - Both are packed with fanservicey moments. - The characters in both are really unique and enjoyable. They both have a male character that looks like a girl and has a typical Japanese samurai name! - Both have a love triangle issue with the main character that gets dealt with in the last couple of episodes, thus transitioning from a humorous tone to a more serious romcom tone. You should really enjoy both!

Its same in comparison with idiocy where male character is complete idiot when comes to feeling of girls.. on the other side lots of comedy , action ( not the same action as in Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu where the progonist is always spilling blood ) maou sadao can be compared tosome levels to yoshii in terms of idiocy ( other than the fact that yoshii is a complete idiot ) must watch anime :)

Both of these have their first seasons with somewhat of a story and then having the second season not continue the story at all, just simply making up stories with its characters. (Might as well call them both a season of extras)
