New Interest Stack
Interest StacksA list of magical girl shows released between 1966 and 1998. Made using this awesome tumblr post: https://chiibinomonodamon.tumblr.com/post/99031991319/there-you-go-every-fcking-magical-girl-from 1-3 - https://myanimelist.net/stacks/14457 Using this [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLZYtFRoMGQ | Magical Girls Timeline 1966-2020] as reference for this stack, I made it in hopes it might help people who are into this genre find anime they haven't watched/didn't know existed yet.. or really just people who'd like to get into something new. some lesser known shows, movies, etc. some have been very surprising gems to me. some mind-blowing, some heart-warming, some merely interesting, some just outright hilarious! Animes about a pharmacy/apothecary/drug store/healing potions in another world or a fantasy world. This is a list of series that have gotten relatively little attention and are underrated, despite being very good. I'd encourage everyone to at least try some of the shows in this list -- you might really enjoy them. A list containing anime movies, OVAs, and shorter TV shows (episodes less than ~22 minutes) that lack fanservice. I did not include Ghibli movies on this list because they are often the go-to answer to fanservice-free anime. Anime with episodes less than the usual ~22 minutes that are not based around gag comedy as these short shows tend to be. Ideal for people who want to watch serious anime but do not have time to sit down for a 22-minute episode. Includes all* anime on the Anime+/GRAPH mahou shoujo/magical girl achievement list Anime I feel would greatly appeal to fans of Ojamajo Doremi, both old and new. If you're someone already loves Doremi, there's a very strong chance you'll love at least one of these too! Ikuko Ito is one of my favorite animators of all time. Here's a collection of some of the work she's done as both a creator, character designer and animation director. :) Anime that is technically for kids but has good enough writing, worldbuilding, and character development that it can be enjoyed by any adult. For most series the score is falling over time, however some special series it is rising over time. |
