Adult Swim (stylized as [adult swim] or abbreviated as [as]) is an American timeshare cable television network bundled with Cartoon Network. The programs featured on Adult Swim are geared toward teens and young adults. Broadcast since 2001, much of the network's general content is known for its risqué, unorthodox and often bizarre presentation, while many of the series' features are developed in stark contrast with traditional American television programs. The block features stylistically varied animated and live-action shows including original programming, syndicated shows and Japanese anime, generally with minimal or no editing for content. There are currently three different continuities: "Ghost in the Shell", "Stand Alone Complex", and "Arise". They all heavily reference the first movie from the Ghost in the Shell continuity so I would recommend starting from that one and watch either SAC or Arise afterwards. Associated words: Dark (Visually and/or Thematically), Story-centric, Atmospheric, Abstract, Psychological, Unorthodox, Nihilistic, AND/OR Avant-garde Ending themes normally don't get the love they deserve, so this a list that consists of a variety of genres, from jazz to rap, but each of them has this strong melodic effect that will surely make you either sing, dance or, at the very least, headbanging you at the rhythm of the song. Anime that aired in Britain on TV. Does not include streaming, home release, etc. Some air dates are included. A comprehensive watch order of the Ghost in the Shell series, which includes every entry of the Ghost in the Shell franchise. Collection of series that feature, provide commentary and explore themes heavily related to Cultural, Political, Religious, Sociological or Economic fields and the impact that those fields and processes that they contain have to the general population. Mystery is a genre that isn't for all. But for those who loves mystery , this genre is very intriguing for them. Who dosen't love plot twists? Mystery genre adds more suspense and thrill to their revealing and plot twists. Shows don't necessarily need to be about high stakes, fatalities, harshness or mind wrenching philosophies to make one contemplate their life and, perhaps, reinvigorate the will to live better. If you finished Psycho-pass and fell in love with it, then watch these Anime with Tokyo-ish vibe and sometimes sci-fi ,AI, cops or even robots included. Trying to compile a list of all anime and manga that has girls with guns in it 50 different series from 50 different years. While most of these are my favorites from year to year, I have included some I thought should get a bit more of a spotlight on. It actually took me a lot longer to put this list together than I thought it would, some years had a lot of good picks and it was hard to pick out either a favorite or one that should be highlighted. A compilation of anime that began airing during the month of January. |
