New Interest Stack
Interest Stacks![]() ![]() This is an early list that I made and quite frankly it's a mess, I decided to make a more comprehensive thematic series, check them out: ![]() ![]() Featuring little to no dialogue and/or characters and the experience is carried by the music and/or visual atmosphere. ![]() ![]() When I first started watching anime, I thought anime was basically a kind of animation with a unique art style. But now I am seeing that most anime comes with a lot of tropes, and a lot of people see these tropes as part of anime. I am not a fan of these tropes, so I am making a list of anime that I like, and I feel have a relatively low amount of tropes, at least compared to most other anime. I still haven't watched a lot of anime, for example - Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. But I will add more anime as I watch them. ![]() ![]() This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious). ![]() ![]() Anime that feels absent and empty, due to it's deafening silence and overwhelming atmosphere by which it permeates. ![]() ![]() Probally not the best, nor my favorite ![]() ![]() Don't have time? These are the anime for you! Anime with less than 6 episodes. Their stories are complete (you won't feel like it ended with a cliffhanger) and really enjoyable. For people who love anime but don't have too much time to watch them. ![]() ![]() A compilation of anime that began airing during the month of December. ![]() ![]() The OVA market dried up as straight to video releases became a thing of the past, which is unfortunate because a lot of interesting and unique anime were released in this format. The point of the list is to feature worthwhile OVAs that are more than just fanservice or shoddy extras for TV series. Sigh, due to the explicit content warning feature, I've excluded Mezzo Forte, but it would be on here otherwise. I should also probably make room for Yukikaze at some point. ![]() ![]() Had an enough of the seasonal garbage where every character is a highschooler? Look no further that here are the ones starring an actual adult. ![]() ![]() Anime that doesn't have many sexualized scenes to boost its popularity with horny basement dwellers. ![]() ![]() These are anime Iv seen that I feel have an undercurrent of sadness to them. Hopefully you find something new! ![]() ![]() ...high tech, low life ![]() ![]() Anime that have decided to be different than the meaningless ''Marvel-esque'' series made for the masses. These have actual meaning and messages that the audience could learn and gain something about themselves. |
