The Animation Film Award (アニメーション映画賞) is an award given to the best animated feature film at the Mainichi Film Awards. The award was established to reward large scale cinematic animation, enabling the Oofuji Noburou Award to focus on shorter pieces. This award was first presented in 1989 for Kiki's Delivery Service by Hayao Miyazaki. This stack is a collection of anime that are either set during winter or convey winter vibes (for example are set in a cold region with snow/ice). This list contains all movies that aren't related with any anime series. (Pre 2014) These animes were the landmarks in anime industry. Critically acclaimed shows and popular for its story, characters, development, and the amazing experience that the audience might feel. Some of them are old and modern, but it has the same level of "masterpiece" that I've seen so far. These are the family based films and films can be watched together with your family. Who said your parents and sibling can't watch anime? Of course, they can too. As long it's decent XD Jokes aside, here is my collection of animes films that your family might enjoy too. Large casts that are lonely, that usually comes together in a big city. This is the kind of stuff you'll want to show to your older relatives or a friend / significant other who isn't into anime in particular but is open to new experiences. Not necessarily to hook them on anime but simply to share a good time together. Shows/Movies of all kinds that are either meant for or can be enjoyed by an older audience. A treasure trove of excellence covering a wide range. Story-driven thrillers, well researched historical shows, brilliant world-constructions, poetic narrations, gripping thrillers, dark comedies, complex future visions, tightly packed action, avant-garde art, solid entertainment, tear-jerking dramas to light-hearted slices of lives. Peak comedy anime that you can call goofy, absurd, extreme wackiness, randomly generated… I really wanted to find good LGBTQ+ representation because a lot of it is very offensive and just overall not good so I want to have a list where it actually good and enjoyable to watch Do you want to start watching anime but don't want people around you calls you childish? Anime that are based on or around Christmas with the holiday as a main theme. Shows where some characters are written and portrayed outside what is considered the standard "man" or "woman". This is my first interest stack so I just wanted to have fun with it and recommend some animes I liked under this particular idea ;^) |
