Just stated... this is a list of Anime shows with an all or almost all-female or the main characters are ladies Anime shows.

This is part 1 of the stack of animes that aired on Canal Panda. A portuguese kids channel that would air shows made for childrens.

Anime that aired in Britain on TV. Does not include streaming, home release, etc. Some air dates are included.


My source for some of these is through word of mouth or archived forum posts so if there are any inaccuracies I apologize. As a rule of thumb if an air date is included it means the show definitely aired.

Compiling older magical girl in case anybody wants to do a deep dive into the genre. Anything before 2000.

Ikuhara and Ikuhara-esque pills that will make you feel alive and ready to stick it to the man.

Series that do not stick to the 10-13 or 22-28 or 36-43 or 47-53 chapter rule. Not including longer anime nor OVA/ONAs nor less than 6 episodes.

March is most notable for airing the entire original run of Sailor Moon tv series, Digimon Adventures as well as for the conclusion of the Rebuild of Evangelion Movies with Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice upon a time.

A lot of Anime back in the 90s and early 2000s were heavily edited for TV broadcast in the international market and some anime are even edited for TV in Japan and it continues to a lesser extent today. I tried to make a list for those like myself who like to research weird, bizarre changes to popular anime series to check them out. A majority of these anime are from the English versions, but some are from other countries. Some anime have a description for some changes that may be less noticeable.
