For a starter, both Wolverine & Batman are based on famous comic book characters, created respectively by Marvel and DC comics. The characters are also quite similar: both vigilante anti-heroes, who are struggle to cope with their dark past, while still keeping their human nature and will to do good. The stories also follow a similar path: both protagonists are usually seen fighting against groups of enemies while trying to save or protect someone. Overall, I found these two anime to be quite similar, not only in the characters are storytelling, but also in the mood they create and their visuals.

"Wolverine" and "Sword Art Online" each features a very powerful male protagonist alongside a cast of varying female characters. Despite the main character simply wanting to live a peaceful life, but due to extreme situations, they take charge and become an unstoppable force. Much of the focus of these two anime is regarding a rescue mission for the protagonist's helpless love interest. In this dire situation with time being an urgent matter, they need to travel to an unfamiliar new location with a female companion who knows the area well and is the cause of a twist, stop the final villain in charge of the realm  read more

Gauken Alice happens to have what would be called in the Marvel univerce, Mutant abilities. Gauken Alice is a modern take, while Wolverine is one of the original in conceptual design.

So, do you like the concepts that Marvel layed down in the univerce they created? Well, Tiger & Bunny happens to be quite inspired by old school superheros with their NEXT. There are allusions that things have changed since the times of the old school superheros. So, if you enjoyed one, you may enjoy the other.

Both are Marvel's anime. Also, Wolverine makes a special guest appearance in one episode making it clear that they share one and the same time line.
