New Interest Stack
Interest Stacks![]() ![]() A gender-oriented story which revolves around the lead protagonist tends to transform into their opposite gender by some supernatural phenomena or simply cross-dressing. ![]() ![]() Anime which have one or a few podcasts dedicated to them on AniFem. These are not necessarily recommendations, but, more generally speaking, titles that are of interest. ![]() ![]() The yuri anime genre unfortunately has a reputation for creating relationships between female characters that are incredibly ambiguous. This is a list of anime in which the romantic/sexual relationship between the two girls is very clear (and not one-sided). The girls in question should be major characters and their relationship should be one of if not the biggest driving point(s) of the show. No hentai titles, as adding even one would get the whole list marked nsfw. Some representation on this list is better than others, and I have provided an opinion under each title. ![]() ![]() One popular trope in romance anime is two characters who’ve either known each other since childhood or having met in childhood falling in love when they grow older. The “childhood friend” is also a common rival in love triangles and harems. ![]() ![]() Can come into two forms: ![]() ![]() Anime that feature transgender (trans girls, trans boys, non-binary, and/or intersex) characters. Some are headcanons- those are indicated by question marks. ![]() ![]() “Part of they yuri?” indicates whether or not the character is either in a yuri relationship or has a yuri-related crush, infatuation, and/or sexual attraction. ![]() ![]() In my rather excursive anime history, I have encountered many series with gender swapping motifs. Some have a recurrent theme throughout the series, whereas others only feature gender swapping plotlines in an episode or two. Because of this, many of these series aren't often tagged or labelled as such. Therefore I've decided to compile them all in one place. ![]() ![]() Has multiple OP or ED that's the same song with different singers (or is close to the same song with the same singer) in 1 entry (Minimum amount is 5, based off of AMQ) ![]() ![]() Bisexual characters in anime. Some are headcanons- those are indicated by question marks. ![]() ![]() i included non-binary in the definition of transgender :) ![]() ![]() story element that exists or existed in Real Life but is assumed to be fictional by the audience, often because it seems too unlikely, bizarre, or kitschy to be real. Sometimes truth really is stranger than fiction... ![]() ![]() Anime important to the culture of transfems. Criteria for inclusion are: |
