New Interest Stack
Interest StacksBooks, libraries and more: Although none of these anime have a tag/theme that denotes them as psychological, they all use cinematographic tactics often seen in psychological media to explore different aspects of the human condition and tackle atypical and philosophical topics. This is a list of non-Ghibli standalone movies - meaning they are not associated with a TV series Anime that portray characters heavily influenced by words. This could be anything from a librarian, a writer, editor, etc. 100% purity here! Not a single bit of nonsense relating to sex! A compilation of anime that began airing during the month of May. I created this interest stack to show you some of the gems that are hidden here, it's not always easy to find these animes or get a recommendation to watch some of them, I hope you like them as much as I do, thank you for those who read this far and good anime. Underrated Anime Movies or OVA or Short Films or Short Animated Videos (could be a really great music video). The Arts are made up of three types: Performing Arts (Music, Dance, Theater, Cosplaying, Acting, etc.), Visual Arts (Painting, Drawing, Film Making, Animation, Video Game Creation, Photography, etc.) and Literary Arts (Novel/Light Novel Writing, Manga/Doujin Writing, Lyric Writing, Journalism, Magazines, Editing, Dictionary Writing, Ghost Writing, etc.). While Performing Arts and Visual Arts have tags on MyAnimeList, Literary Arts do not, so this interest stack is rectifying that. Literary Arts have a long history with anime like the other two art forms, so this includes a wide variety of them. It may also include some that are about being passionate for literature rather than writing itself. Some series are excluded if they lean more towards Performing Arts or Visual Arts than Literary Arts, such as Kodocha, Saekano or The Pet Girl of Sakurasou. While some series may have major characters who are novelists, it needs to have Literary Arts be an important aspect of the plot in order for it to be included. Also, there will only be one series per franchise for the sake of variety. Anime where characters read literary or philosophical classics, anime with literary references or anime that feature literature as a theme. For all the pseudo-intellectual posers out there; please let me know if you find anything worth adding! |
