New Interest Stack
Interest StacksThese are darker based animes that are written for a female audience. not necessarily just horror but certainly not your average light-hearted girl romance. (but nothings wrong with that either!) Get ready for Halloween with 30 nights worth of horror OVAs and movies that are guaranteed to deliver you spooks and scares. The criteria this time is no criteria. This is the final list in my Obscurities series. If there is any criteria, it's that I think you should watch these despite their quality, popularity, or even my rating, because you should see 'em. There's some good, some bad, and some real head-scratchers in here. It's mixed bag time in here! some lesser known shows, movies, etc. some have been very surprising gems to me. some mind-blowing, some heart-warming, some merely interesting, some just outright hilarious! Before the likes of Saint Seiya, Dragon Ball Z and Pokemon conquering the kids in the west, it was actually Akira that opened the door and made people realize that the cartoons coming from Japan weren't what you would expect from Disney or your TV channels. Part 2: https://myanimelist.net/stacks/36724 Every cinema or direct to video anime film that came out in 1990. A curated list of anime that is purely on delivering unsettling and eerie stories. some lesser known ova adaptations of shoujo + josei manga, I only included OVAs that are around 1-6 eps, so if they got full anime adaptations later I didn't include them. the list mainly includes feature films over 1h20 but also some short and medium-length films/OAVs, which are also worth a watch! |
